what we have improved and why
It was important that we improved from our prelim in order to make a more effective clip. Many areas were improved such as using camera techniques, understanding sound, using editing techniques, using good actors and having a costume as well as having a good location choice.
Camera techniques - the techniques used have massively improved since filming our prelim, in out prelim the camera is not stable and the focus changes often making it look blurry however when filming our final OTS we were aware of how to use that camera properly and how to use it in the most effective way.
Location choice - the room that we filmed our prelim in was very small, which made it hard to get goof camera angles and it did not help to create the atmosphere of the scene. Therefore when filming our OTS we made sure that the areas we filmed in had a lot more room and that they helped to set the scene appropriately.
Acting - since our prelim the acting has improved this was important as we needed the characters within out OTS to be portrayed correctly and look real.
Costume - costume was an important factor in our OTS as it helped enhance the character however when we filmed the prelim we were not aware of this therefore the clothing did not help create the scene.
Sound - When filming the prelim we did not take sound into consideration and just used dialogue however when editing the OTS it was important to have non-digetic sound to make the scene more effective and to create a better atmosphere.

overall
We improved a lot since our prelim as we were aware of key areas that we needed to focus on such as how to use a camera properly, location, editing and using the appropriate actors to set the scene.
